With my compassionate and professional approach, I will work closely with you and your family to craft a ceremony that is both respectful and uplifting. With a deep respect for different cultural and religious traditions, I am able to create ceremonies that are inclusive and respectful of diverse backgrounds. Whether you prefer a traditional funeral service or a more contemporary celebration of life, I will ensure every detail is thoughtfully considered.
With me as your celebrant the timings, location and content of the ceremony are flexible. Perhaps a funeral ceremony at the local crematorium or woodland burial ground, or more of a celebration of life brimming with personal touches at a local hotel or in your loved one’s favourite pub. You may wish to include a religious or spiritual reference, or perhaps none at all. The choice is all yours.
I will incorporate it all and together we will tell their story.
Celebration of Life
A celebration of life ceremony is a beautiful tribute to honour and remember the life of a loved one. It is a time of healing, unity, and gratitude as you come together to celebrate a life well-lived; to reflect on cherished memories, share stories of joy and laughter, and find comfort in the love and support of family and friends.
As an independent celebrant, I am not tied to a particular ceremony location nor restricted by its content. It can be held pretty much anywhere you wish and include anything you want. If it’s legal and safe, the choice is yours.
Scattering or Interment of Ashes
For some families, this can happen shortly after the funeral, while for others, it may take place years later, whenever the moment feels right. While they tend to be shorter, we can tailor the ceremony to whatever you wish.
Memorial Service
To commemorate the death of a loved one, a memorial service is usually held some time after their funeral, possibly on the anniversary of their death. I will be happy to work with you to create the perfect ceremony. Again we can tailor it to whatever you wish.

Taking the time to plan your own funeral ceremony ensures that your wishes are honoured and lightens the burden on your loved ones during a difficult time.
You have the opportunity to create your own ceremony, from the type of funeral service and content of the eulogy to the choice of music and readings.
Whether you envision a traditional ceremony or a celebration of life, I'm here to guide you through the process, ensuring that every aspect reflects your unique personality and values.
Your completed ceremony can be left with a trusted family member or friend, or with your Funeral Director to sit alongside your funeral plan or perhaps with your Solicitor alongside your will.
