I will meet with you in your home, or at another venue should you wish, to start planning what the service / celebration of life will look like. Any family members or friends you would want with you would be most welcome.

I will take lots of notes and ask questions to make sure we have all the information we need to truly capture your loved one’s personality. If there is someone you would like me to talk with but who can’t make the meeting, I would be happy to contact them separately. 

I will ask about music, personal tributes, inclusion of any religious or spiritual references, or any special touches you may want.

I will liaise with your chosen funeral director and inform them of our meeting and the decisions that have been made.

I will write the ceremony and share the initial draft with you. I can arrange to read it to you should you prefer. At this stage you can make any changes you wish.

Should you want to write it yourself, I can support you in that. 

On the day of the ceremony, I will arrive at your chosen venue well in advance and will ensure everything is in order and as planned. I will conduct the ceremony.

After the ceremony, I will provide you with a printed copy of the script. Something which I hope will bring you a degree of comfort in the future.
